The saga of Flamingo Crossings dates back to March 2007, when Walt Disney World announced the 450-acre retail, dining and lodging district on the western edge of its property in tandem with the new Four Seasons Orlando. Located off Western Way and State Road 429 near (ironically enough) Coronado Springs and Animal Kingdom, this is actually an up-and-coming area of Walt Disney World and Central Florida, in general.
